near Lake Manapouri, a spectacular lake on the edge of Fiordland National Park. The lake's many islands, and the mountains beyond, are cloaked in native beech and podocarp forest.
Our climate is a cool one, which creates a good microclimate for producing robust and hardy native plants that can flourish when transported and planted throughout the country.
