Red Russock
Chionochloa rubra
Large, majestic and robust tussock with gracefully flowing foliage. Tolerates dry soils but prefers moist, cool conditions which enhance the redness of its foliage. Can be slower growing at first than the other tussocks. Effective in mass plantings, beautiful in the wind.
