Celery Pine or Tanekaha
Phyllocladus trichomanoides
Striking forest tree with regular pyramidal or conical shape. Foliage resembles leaf of celery. Rapid growing and extremely hardy - makes a wonderful garden specimen tree. Grows in sun or shade. One of NZ's oldest known plant species.
